About Course
Welcome Message: Welcome to the Dairy Farm Summer Intern course. This course aims to equip you with the essential skills and understanding needed to contribute effectively to daily operations on a dairy farm. These lessons
Course Objectives: By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the principles and techniques involved in the milking process.
- Recognize common health issues in dairy cattle and understand basic health management practices.
- Learn the fundamentals of proper feeding routines and nutrition management for dairy cows.
Course Structure: This 3-week course is divided into three main topics, each covering critical areas of dairy farming. Each topic is broken down into short lessons that include theoretical knowledge, practical application, and on the job training to enhance your learning experience.
Assessment and Certification: The course includes short quizzes at the end of each topic to test your knowledge and practical training. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
